fluxkraft is Open Source Software. This means you are free to download, modify, extend or distribute. Adopt it as you need it. Do you want to integrate your personal web service or connect your Raspberry Pi? Here you go. The fluxkraft community is constantly improving the system, integrating new, popular services and working on documentation.

Because fluxkraft is Open Source you are free to extend and to install it on your own server. As a result, you are not dependent on a single service provider. No surprises, just long-term reliability and sustainability.

Integrate new web services or tools. Thousands of services out there are just waiting to become part of fluxkraft! As long there is no better documentation see the fluxtwitter module for an example: http://drupalcode.org/project/fluxtwitter.git/tree

Write some documentation or answer questions in the support forum
Help to improve the fluxkraft distribution in general (e.g. work on issues in the fluxtheme project: http://drupal.org/project/fluxtheme)

What are the installation requirements?

To install and run fluxkraft your web server must meet certain minimum requirements. See the general requirements for Drupal: https://drupal.org/requirements However, fluxkraft is required to be used with PHP 5.3.2 or higher. Also set your PHP memory limit to at least 128MB or better 256MB: https://drupal.org/node/207036 It is highly recommended to set up a server cron job: https://drupal.org/node/23714. For testing and certain use-cases Drupal's built-in triggering of cron runs may be sufficient, but note that Drupal will only trigger cron runs if someone is visiting your site.

What web services are currently supported?

The fluxkraft project is just starting, but there are already integrations for the most important web services including Twitter, Facebook, flickr, Dropbox, Linkedin, XING, Pocket and feeds. See the full list on https://drupal.org/project/fluxservice. Note: When there is an integration module available it doesn't mean that every API feature is supported. In case you are missing something write a feature request or try to contribute it yourself! Do you know another web service that should be integrated immediately?
